Hi guys, I've realised that a lot of you might not read my profile to the very end, so I'm putting this out there at the top of the agenda - sorry, but I don't like beards! (And nor does my sensitive skin).😊
I am friendly and outgoing, thoughtful and (I believe!) considerate. Generally optimistic - when bad stuff happens, it doesn't take me long to bounce back. I can be quite opinionated, but don't let that put you off - I'm interested to know your thoughts too.
Just a note re my photos (a gallery of a few years!), the head shot just uploaded as my main pic is very recent - taken mid-September in Greece.
I moved here fifteen years ago - from Richmond upon Thames to Frome in north Somerset (near Bath) - quite a new experience as I'd been in the London area for all my adult life - but I love it here; there's a really creative vibe and lots always going on. I'm in London now and then for business and cultural activities, and to get together with friends.
My details show my dietary choice as 'Eat Healthily'. I resisted putting vegetarian as I'm actually pescatarian. I'm not offended by someone eating meat in my presence, but I wouldn't cope well with chunks of dead animal in the fridge! (Perhaps two fridges?).
I enjoy theatre, visiting galleries, stand-up comedy (love Ed Byrne, Danny Bhoy and that black girl called Gina something), cinema, the ballet, country walks (ending at a pub!), a meal in a Michelin starred restaurant or at a local pizza house - it's the company that matters. Don't do gym any more; I now prefer Pilates and, a few years ago, resumed ballet classes. I love salsa too. Reading - favourites include Ian McEwan and Mark Billingham, but my all-time favourite classic is 'Rebecca' (it's a girl thing). The first few lines are pure poetry.
I want to start horse-riding again (it's been a while, apart from one very wet day on Dartmoor last July!) - a perfect holiday would be trekking through some stunning South American landscape - join me?
