In today's suspicious, confusing and ultra sensitive culture I am more relaxed about not being the first to send a message - but would be delighted to hear from anyone.

Being a teenager in the 1960s was a great time for popular music - I saw the Rolling Stones at Newcastle City Hall. But since those days my musical tastes have changed and I find I get as much from more traditional music and I find Bach very accessible for example.
I’m currently trying, but not succeeding very well at all, to figure out aspects of philosophy. I can, however, understand Karl Popper’s philosophy!
I like fine art (Blackadder, Hockney, Sargent) and enjoyed the recent Turner exhibition at the Laing.
I am educated to postgraduate (economics) level.
Well travelled - worked in California and Perth WA with short term work in Moscow and Kazakhstan.
