About her
I am optimistic, easy going, and full of energy. I love spending time with family and friends but also enjoy meeting new people (I'm a bit of a people watcher). I'm very sociable and enjoy meals out, live music, sports especially tennis and very recently golf and love watching Scotland rugby at Murrayfield. It's much less painful now than it used to be! I do also love a quiet night in front of a good film to recharge my batteries. My life took a very unexpected & sad turn when I was widowed suddenly in 2019 but out of that (eventually) came even more appreciation of the need to live life to the full, if not today then when?
I do a fair amount of travelling with family, friends, and sometimes on my own, places I'd particularly like to visit are Japan, Central America and more of the far east. it would be lovely to find that special person again for fun, romance and to share what life has to offer.

I'm not really sure how to describe my ideal match. I like the idea of someone who is attractive, kind, sociable & has similar energy levels to me. I also love intelligence & positivity and sharing some similar interests is a good starting point. However so much of a good match is down to that illusive chemistry and what works well is often a surprise so I'm fairly relaxed about this really.
