About him
I'm a lover not a fighter, looking for a companion to share holidays, meals and theatre nights together. I retired from the Royal Navy in 1996 after 23 years service and was an IT Engineer for 21 years since. Retired in 2018 to care for my late wife for 6yrs. I enjoy cooking and I am not frightened to share household chores. I love animals and sport although the sport is more watching now than taking part. However I am a member of a local Bowls club.
I enjoy going for walks, whether on the beach or in the countryside I don't mind. I love music from Bach to Bananarama and everything in between from the 50s/60s to today. Anything else we can talk about over a brew. Life is getting shorter so I want to make the most of what is left and would love to find someone with the same outlook.

Someone who likes cuddles and cosy nights in especially on these cold winter evenings. We all have baggage but the less the better, I can really do with not dealing with ongoing family issues. Someone who doesn't take life too seriously and enjoys a laugh and joke, but has an opinion on life's ups and downs.
