About her
Having spent the last 9 months taking care of "me" ... rediscovering the person I'd lost for a while, I think it's time to get out and enjoy life .... and hopefully find someone special to share it with. Don't think that's too much to ask, is it?
I enjoy spending quality time with someone who makes me laugh... I really miss those painful belly laughs that become uncontrollable and then you laugh because you've forgotten what you're actually laughing about.
I enjoy cosy nights in and cuddles. Miss those desperately. Life and love is in front of you, not on a screen - be it phone or TV.
I love spontaneous trips out, they are usually the most enjoyable - but planned events are good too.
Just as so many say in their profiles .... I enjoy walks in the forest, along the shore, watching the sunset .... even better with that special person.
I like cooking and although I prefer cooking.for others, I do cook for myself and try to steer clear of packet and processed. Not saying Im any good at it, but I've not poisoned anyone ... yet.
I have been involved with theatre (usually musicals) for many years and have often trodden the boards of The Kings Theatre and what was the old Ferneham Hall. Big love of mine, and yes, Ive taken a fair few leading roles particularly in my 20s to 40s. Not so much now as parts for "mature" ladies are few and far between. That said, I did find myself behind a wheelbarrow of strategically positioned flowers when I was in the musical version of Calendar Girls a couple of years ago. If you know, you know.
I think that's all I can think of to say about me, other than I'm pretty easy going. I love well, and you'll know when I think a relationship is worth fighting for, because at our time in life, surely its worth trying to sort it rather than moving on?

Of course you'll have history. Who hasn't? But dont be shy of it or regret it as it makes us who we are. But dont let previous bad or painful experiences tarnish what might lay before you. I hope to meet someone who, like me, still has a lot of love to give and not want to waste it on brief affairs or one night stands. We're far too old for that sort of thing! So, if that's what you're after... keep looking. But if you want to put the time and effort in, and are prepared to fall in love again when the right lady comes along, well, that's all good.
